Supporting Ontario families with access to free tutoring.

We’ve heard you need help.

As our daily routines and social abilities have been impacted by COVID-19, our sense of community may have been disrupted. Some community members are experiencing mild to severe distress as a result of isolation, limited social interaction, and a variety of other social and economic challenges.

One such challenge may be balancing time between support for children learning at home, and support for parents working at home. Focus and task completion can be difficult for both, as parents struggle to meet both the demands of the workplace and the expectations of children learning from home. Time may not be the only barrier: engaging the interest and participation of children in the at-home classroom, finding grade-appropriate resources, and selecting learning strategies may happen at any time.

Our Organization

We’d like to help.

Children, too, are craving a sense of connection and positive feedback as they experienced in their schools. This program aims to match a virtual tutor with a student, to develop a positive relationship in which to support learning.
