What We Do

We’re here to help

Our Mission

We are a non-profit organization designed to connect Ontario families with a network of virtual volunteer tutors.

Who we are

Virtual tutors are selected from a pool mainly comprised of post-secondary students, that go through a rigorous screening, interview, and training/coaching process. All virtual tutors will have an up to date vulnerable sector check.

Individually focused learning strategies for your child.

Research proves that all learning happens more readily and with greater retention when children feel safe and welcomed.

Fostering Positive Attitudes.

Virtual tutors aim to foster positive attitudes toward learning. The virtual tutor engages students to participate in open discussions about classroom activities, and listens to determine what next steps are required to support learning. For example, an assignment, worksheet or project given by the classroom teacher for home completion, could prompt further discussion with the virtual tutor about how to approach the task, and the virtual tutor would work alongside the student to complete the task.

Inquiry-based Learning.

Questions, stalls, diversions, are supported with meaningful and positive feedback. Opportunities for inquiry-based learning are encouraged, to keep a strong enthusiasm for their learning.
